The wolf, Peter S. Ruckman, says, "I don't teach that abortion is murder, like the brethren do"

"You don't want to get hung up on those things. Some of the brethren get so hung up on this thing, 'abortion is murder, abortion is murder', they show you pictures. (That's right Mr. Wolf. The pictures ACCURATELY show a HUMAN BEING is being ripped apart.) Well they're trying to prove, they're trying to prove the thing looks like a person that is a person.(Trying to prove? Wolf, have you ever tried LOOKING at the pictures?) That's what Darwin taught. You cotta watch that business. You can take an embryo of an animal and prove it looks like an embryo of a person. (The discussion is not about Darwin and embryos, it's about human life inside a mother's womb whose heart is beating and pumping blood). That doesn't make it a person. You gotta watch that business. You go around start prove that thing is a person before that thing is born, then you got that matter of salvation. (No Scriptures, NOTHING to prove from his Bible what he is saying! The Bible says, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.") And the first thing you know you'll be up there at the Catholic hospital dumpin' water on them so they don't go to limbo. You gotta watch that kind of stuff. Now I'll grant you the child is an organism, I'll grant you that. But they're a lot of organisms. I'll grant you the child may be alive in the sense of animal life, I'll grant you that. I'll grant you it's an embryo, I'll grant you that. But if you talking about a living soul see, I read my bible there's no living soul till the Lord breathed in his nostrils the breath of life."

"Now if you ever start teaching the other, and maybe some of you fellows subscribe that way, you gonna have some real problems. When all those Indians and Hindus came into Bangladesh and Pakistan and raped about 2000 women and left them with about 800 illegitimate children, the good Catholic nuns, in order to increase the membership to the local church, decided it'd be a terrible sin to have any abortion. So the will of God for 800 women who were abused against their will to bear children for the Roman Catholic Church. I don't believe it!"

CONCLUSION: Contrary to Ruckman's own personal doctrine, the Bible is very clear that God forms children in the womb:

Did not he that made me in the womb make him? and did not one fashion us in the womb?" Job 31:15
"Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us?" Malachi 2:10
"Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture." Psalm 100:3
"Thy hands have made me and fashioned me." Psalm 119:73
"Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright...." Ecclesiastes 7:29
"My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth." Ps. 139:15

God knew the prophet Jeremiah before he was born and John the Baptist was filled with the Holy Spirit before birth! (Jer. 11:5; Luke 1:15, 41). Whether or not the unborn child can be called a soul is irrelevant to the issue and is not something the Bible addresses.

It is also a fact that no person was ever born the way Adam was made, and therefore one cannot apply Gen. 2:7 to any other than Adam. He is trying to apply Gen. 2:7 to a child born today. Does God breathe life into a child born today? The first man did not become a living soul until God breathed into his nostrils does not mean that this is true for those formed in the womb.

It appears Peter S. Ruckman is THE one who is a Bible Corrector (of whom he accuses others) with his own personal doctrines. This man is just as dangerous as Chuck Swindoll, Piper, Charles Stanley, et. al.
